Focus in Intermediate Mat is on the Intermediate Pilates Mat repertoire and often incorporates props such as toning balls, fitness circle, foam rollers and physio balls.You must have previous pilates mat experience in order to attend the intermediate classes.

Music can raise our vibrations. We’ve all experienced this: you listen to a song you love and it makes you feel good! The Bhakti Yoga (yoga of devotion) practice of chanting is a super-charged version of this phenomenon, which uses ancient Sanskrit mantras repeated with a melody (song) to produce a very specific vibration within our energetic bodies. Absolutely no prior singing experience is necessary to participate in the practice of chanting. If you have a heart, then you have all that you need!
In this workshop, Heather will lead an energizing yoga flow to awaken your energy and center your spirit, and Jennifer will accompany with music and chanting. In the second section of the workshop, Jennifer will teach us some chants and we will do a simple call and response to receive the experience of mantra together. (more…)
